Cleansers Galore

I love a good cleanser. I genuinely look forward to the end of the day so I can cleanse away the day's grime and SPF. The thought of being able to put the day behind me by doing my skincare routine, genuinely gets me through the day some days. Today, I'm going to write about the different cleansers I use and enjoy.

My go to cleanser:
My go to cleanser is the Camomile Cleansing Butter from The Body Shop. This is my favourite cleanser ever. I will always have a tub of this in my skincare collection, because it's wonderful. I love this so much. I love the gentle scent it has. Now, I'm not a big fan of scented skincare, it can be irritating, but this is light and it doesn't irritate my skin. This cleanser also helped save my skin. Earlier on this year, my skin became red and sore, because I was using an unsuitable cleanser and it was still winter. My skin was so dry and raw, it was very irritated. I had a tub of this, and I thought I'll try a more nourishing cleanser. In a week or two, my skin was so much better. If my skin ever feels dry and tight after a day at work, I'll use just this cleanser, and not double cleanse, and my skin is hydrated and ready for my next step. If I'm tired, I'll cut my evening routine down to two steps, cleansing with this and moisturising.

My new favourite cleanser:
My new favourite cleanser is the Calm Redness Relief Cleanser Normal to Oily Skin from Paula's Choice. I'm really enjoying this and I think this is a great cleanser for this time of year when it's quite clammy, so I'm sweating more, so I need something a bit more cleansing for a morning cleanser and as a second cleanser. This is the perfect thing for that job. It is cleansing, yet, although it's marketed for Normal to Oily Skin types, it doesn't dry out my skin at all. I've just finished patch testing this, and once I've used up another open cleanser, I'm going to use this everyday. This is a non-scented gel cleanser, which I love. I don't see the need for any unnecessary fragrances in skincare, which I think is all of them. I'm pleased to have found a cleanser like this.

The I can't wait to finish cleanser:
The cleanser I can't wait to finish is the Aloe Calming Cream Cleanser from The Body Shop. At first, I really enjoyed this and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a gentle, non-irritating cleanser. But as I have other cleansers waiting to be used, I don't enjoy using this anymore. I am trying to finish using this but I can't wait to be finished with it. I may repurchase it in the future, but not in the next few months.

The cleansers waiting to be tested:
I have a few cleansers waiting to be tried. The one I'm excited about trying is the La Roche Posay Toleriane Dermo Cleanser. This is because it has only 8 ingredients so it should be very gentle. I'm also excited to try the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm, as I've heard good things about it. And I've also got the Noreva Sensidiane Micellar Milk to try.
