June Empties

Well, June has flown over for me. What a month. Time is just flying by lately.

Skincare empties:
  • Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel sample - My god, this was a beautiful cleanser. It smells divine and it's a pleasure to use. This a gel to oil to milk cleanser. When you squeeze it out of the tube, it's a gel. Then once massaged onto the skin it turns into an oil. Then when you rinse with water it turns into a milk.
  • Clarins Cleansing Milk with Gentain sample - This was a really nice cleansing milk. I can't get the whole suction movement you're meant to do when using this, but this was a nice cleansing milk. If I was in the mood to buy it, I think I would, but there are cheaper options out there.
  • La Roche Posay Hydreane Legere Moisturiser - This is my holy grail moisturiser. I think I will continue to use this until they stop making this. Which I hope is not for a long time yet. This is lovely and gentle and hydrating for my skin.
  • Noreva Sensidiane Micellar Milk Cleanser (2) - I liked this originally, but I've fallen out of love with it recently. I may come back to this in the future, but I'm going to try a few different micellar milks in the future.
  • REN Vita Mineral Emollient Rescue Cream - This was an impulse purchase which I now regret. This was an okay cream, it's a thick cream, which is good for some purposes but I didn't need it. I used this up on my feet as a thick foot cream.
  • Superdrug Calm Skin 2 in 1 Moisturiser and Serum - This was another impulse purchase. This is what happens when I'm fed up of work and browsing through Superdrug. This was way too scented for me to use on my face, so I used this on my body.
  • SVR Sebiaclear Hydra Moisturiser sample - This was okay, but I don't think I'll purchase a full size as it was a bit like a paste, which was a bit off putting.
  • SVR Sebiaclear SPF50+ Creme - This is my holy grail sunscreen at the moment. It's a lovely sunscreen which has no Avobenzone in it, so my skin isn't irritated when I apply this sunscreen. The only problem I've had with this is I can't use it when it's humid. So I'm saving my backup tube for the cooler weather.
  • Wilko Oval Cotton Pads - I love these cotton pads. So cheap and efficient. You can't go wrong for 50p.
Body empties:
  • Colgate Plax Gentle Care Mouthwash - This was gentle and does what it says on the bottle, but I won't be repurchasing this. It just didn't excite me.
  • Nivea Pearl & Beauty Deodorant - I like this deodorant, but I prefer the Stress Protect one from Nivea.
  • Oral B Satin Tape - My go to floss. Cheap and effective.
  • Oral B Sensitive replacement head - These are nice but I prefer a manual brush more lately than my electric one.
  • Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bod Buff Body Scrub sample - This was nice, but it was a bit too rough for me. But the scent was divine. I may purchase something else from this brand in the future.
  • Olay & Gillette replacement head - These are great razor heads. I love how smooth these leave my skin and my skin isn't irritated after shaving with these. I'll definitely be buying more.
Unpictured empties:
  • Lush Santa's Postbox soap - This was a nice soap, not drying and it had a lovely scent. But I don't think I would repurchase it if it was still available.
  • Nip + Fab Dragon's Blood Fix Hydration Mask - This was a horrible sheet mask. My skin had a weird film left on it after I took this mask off. It also had a terrible fit on the face and it had a strange scent to it. I wouldn't repurchase this and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
